Parker McCollum shared a clip of the sweet moment he brought his wife and the coupleâs baby on stage during a recent performance.
McCollum, who performed for a crowd of 72,000 fans at Rodeo Houston over the weekend, introduced âtwo very important people in my life, the most important people,â to the stage. Hallie Ray Light McCollum joined her superstar husband in the spotlight while holding son Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, who was born over the summer. âBelieve it or not, this is his first rodeo,â McCollum told the audience.
The âWhat Kinda Manâ hitmaker welcomed Baby No. 1 with his wife on August 8, 2024. McCollum previously revealed his sonâs name on The Spencer Graves Show, sharing at that time that he âwas watching Rose Bowl highlights, and I saw Major Applewhite, [current South Alabama Football head coach and former Texas quarterback]. I was like, âdamn, Major McCollum would be sick.ââ
McCollum posted the sweet moment with his family on stage shortly after he announced his self-titled fifth studio record. The award-winning artist told the sold out Rodeo Houston audience that the album, produced by Grammy winner Frank Lindell, will arrive on June 27. McCollum said in a statement that the upcoming album is âthe best thing Iâve ever done. This record is honest, this record is raw, this record is one thousand percent authentic, Parker, and it feels really good to get back to writing and recording songs like I always wanted to.â
McCollum also revealed his list of fall tour stops on his rebranded âParker McCollum Tour,â which includes special guests Ashley Cooke, Corey Smith, Hudson Westbrook, Kameron Marlowe, Laci Kaye Booth and Vincent Mason. See the list of tour stops below.
