Seven-year-old Tommy Morrissey is having a successful little league baseball season. He’s a feared hitter, who has even crushed home runs.
For most kids, hitting a home run in little league is amazing enough, but Tommy doing it is extra special -- because he has only one arm.
Tommy got the attention of Major League Baseball and was invited to the St. Louis Cardinals spring training facility in Jupiter, Florida, where he received hitting tips from big leaguers.
And thanks to his growing fame, his family was able to start a foundation to provide financial aid for families who are also dealing with limb-saving surgery and rehab. It's called the “Tommy Fund” -- and they hope it will help other kids with similar challenges achieve their full potential.
