A minor league baseball team in Oklahoma sponsored an event for dog owners, inviting them to bring their dogs to the ballpark.
The "Bark in the Park" event was a success for the Tulsa Drillers and fun was had by all, but especially for a German Shepherd who couldn't control her instincts -- and bolted onto the field after a baseball was thrown by one of the players.
The players enjoyed playing fetch with the dog, who did a great job of retrieving and dropping the ball for more fun.
The dog's owner, Emily Diacon, was able to get the playful German Shepherd off the field and admitted that she gave her pet "a ton of treats" for bringing smiles to the faces of everyone in the stands.
