READ: Texas Man Makes Rifle Shot From Three Miles Away

A guy in Texas just set a new world record by hitting a 53-inch-wide target with a rifle shot -- from three miles away.

It took Bill Poor under 10 shots to get it right and hit the target, which was 5,280 yards away, and break the old 5,000-yard record set by a Navy SEAL last year.

Amazingly, the bullet was in the air a full 14 seconds before hitting its mark.
