In Des Moines, Iowa, a UPS driver recently experienced more action on his route than he expected when he saved a family from a house fire.
Jeremy Brandt was making his deliveries when he spotted smoke coming from a home. He hopped out of his truck and woke up the owner, a father who was sleeping inside with his baby.
After the father and baby got out of the house unharmed, Jeremy made sure no one else was in the house -- and was even able to open a gate to make sure the family dog was away from danger.
Once firefighters took control of the scene, Jeremy jumped back in his truck and finished his route -- all in a day's work.
