A bar owner in Wisconsin wasn’t too happy when five customers left the bar without paying their $110 tab. But instead of just writing the money off as a loss, the owner posted pictures of the customers taken by security cameras on Facebook and offered a $30 gift card if someone could identify the dine-and-dashers.
Sure enough – all five thieves were shamed into returning to pay.
The bar owner said they owned up to what they did and were remorseful. He also said he considers the case closed and appreciates everyone on Facebook who stepped up and helped because the pressure definitely made a difference.
