Watch Miranda Lambert Perform 5 Songs She Wrote That Other Artists Released

Miranda Lambert performed some of the songs she co-wrote that other country stars recorded.

“I write a lot of songs with some of my best friends,” the powerhouse artist said on stage during a recent performance. “So I thought I would do a little medley for y’all of a few of my favorite songs I’ve written.” Lambert shared a compilation video filmed by Tyler Conrad on Instagram on Monday (March 23). Throughout the clip, she sings:

  • “What Am I Gonna Do,” recorded by Chris Stapleton and released on his 2023 album, Higher. Songwriters include Lambert and Stapleton.
  • “Outrunnin’ Your Memory,” recorded by Luke Combs featuring Lambert, and released on Combs’ 2022 album, Growin’ Up. Songwriters include Lambert, Combs and Dan Isbell.
  • “Choosin’ Texas,” recorded by Ella Langley and releasing on her upcoming 2026 album, Dandelion. Songwriters include Lambert, Langley, Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor.
  • “Thought You Should Know,” recorded by Morgan Wallen and released on his 2022 album, One Thing At A Time. Songwriters include Lambert, Wallen and Nicole Galyon.
  • “Good Horses,” recorded by Lainey Wilson featuring Lambert, and released on Wilson’s 2024 album, Whirlwind. Songwriters include Lambert, Wilson and Luke Dick.

Last month, Lambert, the most awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, officially became a member of the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame. She was inducted alongside Don CookKeith Gattis and George Strait. Lambert hailed the induction “the biggest honor I could ever dream of. …My heart is full.” Watch her perform five songs she co-wrote here:
