Lainey Wilson posted a message on Instagram on Tuesday (June 20), calling out advertisements allegedly claiming that the “Watermelon Moonshine” artist took weight loss gummies to drop a few pounds. Wilson posted her “PSA” so her social media followers would know: “if y’all have seen these ads, they’re entirely fake. Don’t fall for them and help me out by reporting them when you see them 🤘🏻” Wilson said in the video:

“Alright, y’all. By now, I’m sure a lot of y’all have seen some ads about me losing weight, being hospitalized, and that I started taking some of weight loss gummies and blah, blah, blah, it saved my life. Well, surprise. It ain’t true. People will do whatever to make a dollar even if it is lies. Because ain’t nobody sent me any gummies. If I have lost weight, it’s because I am working hard and playing hour and a half shows and running around every night of my life. And to be honest, me losing weight or gaining weight ain’t got anything to do with my music. I love y’all. I just don’t want y’all spending your money on something that ain’t real. Do not fall for it. But I’ll tell you what: it’d be real nice if they made some gummies that made your a** tell the truth. You get a gummy! You get a gummy! We all gettin’ gummies!”

The Bell Bottom Country superstar has tons of concert and festival dates on her calendar through the end of this year, including some upcoming shows on Luke Combs’ massive world tour. Wilson also has shows throughout the year with Eric Church, Jackson Dean, HARDY and others, her tour schedule shows. See Wilson’s PSA here:
