Thomas Rhett Wishes Daughter Ada James Happy Birthday In Sweet Post

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins' middle daughter, Ada James, is now three years old! On Wednesday, August 12, both Rhett and Lauren turned to social media to celebrate their daughter's birthday.

Rhett's post featured several photos of Ada James from the family's recent trip to Colorado including shots of her sitting on a log, holding a bow, exploring the River with her big sister, Willa Gray, and holding a sparkler.

"Happiest of birthday to my sweet little Ada James! You are the sweetest/ most sassy kid that I know," the country star captioned his post. "You make the room light with just your smile. Can not believe you are 3 already! Love you baby girl😭"

Lauren also shared several photos in her post starting with a precious black-and-white photo of Ada James at the beach with a big smile on her face. Other shots included a picture from their Colorado vacation along with several fun photos of Ada James trying on a cowboy hat, sitting at a laptop with a pair of glasses on and rocking a pair of high heels.

"My precious little Ada James💗🌈☀️ baby you are nothing but sunshine and firecrackers all wrapped up in a little 3 year old body! You keep our family laughing every single day and also wondering what in the world we’re gonna do with you🥰" Lauren writes alongside the photos. "You love your sisters so well, you’re so independent and SASSY and I can’t believe I get to be your mama💗 I love you so much Ada James. Happy birthday little cutie pie!!!"

Along with Ada James, Rhett and Akins also share two other daughters-- Willa Gray, 4, and Lennon Love, who was born in February.

Over the last few months Rhett has been able to spend plenty of time with his kids since his "Center Point Road Tour" was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. While he misses playing live shows, Rhett does admit he's been thankful for more time with his girls.

"To me, it’s been kind of a blessing in disguise to be able to hang out with them and get to learn them a little bit better," he explained, "because on the contrary I would be on the road, but now I get to be at home and wake up with ‘em, go to sleep with ‘em and just finding new ways to have fun with ‘em."
