College Station Police said an officer was bitten three times trying to help an intoxicated woman during a traffic stop.
Officers pulled over 22-year-old Amaya Ochoa at Nagle and University around 3:00 a.m. Wednesday. Police said she became belligerent and tried to hurt herself during the arrest.
One officer tried to cradle her head, but she bit them a total of three times before making it to the hospital.
Ochoa is charged with assault on a public servant.
